Wine making process
The vineyard is established on chalky clay soils and the average yield is 35 hl/ha.
The crop is totally hand-harvested and sorted in the vineyard. The grapes are de-stemmed and crushed when they arrive into the cellar.
A 4 to 5 week maceration follows, with regular, gentle manipulation of the cap to provide extraction but without bitterness.

Tasting notes
The colour, deep and strong, shows already the great concentration of the wine.
The nose is rich and complex giving at the same time hints of blackberries and spicy flavours such as black pepper.
Mouth: The palate is fat, rich with a good structure and an amazing length.

Château de Tréviac is perfect with red meats, games and cheeses.
