In the last 20 years the Languedoc has gone through a profound re-development both in the vineyards and the wineries. Les Marquieres red is a blend of local (Carignan), regional (Grenache) and an international grape variety (Cabernet Sauvignon).

Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness in the cooler periods of the day.A short cold maceration is carried out to enhance the varietals aromatic qualities. The fermentation is then carried out at 25C.

Tasting notes
The colour is ruby red and bright. The nose is fresh and spicy. The palate is dominated by red fruit flavours with hints of spice.

It is delicious served as an aperitif or with red meat. Serve at 16C
