Vin du Pays d’Oc

The Languedoc offers a unique climate for the ripening of grapes. It is in this region of the South of France that our winemakers select grapes for Lavila. Particular attention is paid to the soil type and growing conditions.

Winemaking
The harvest is carried out very carefully to protect the grapes from bruising. The wine is then fermented at 26C. The maceration lasts just over 10 days. The wine is fermented in closed tanks to retain the wines fruit character.

Tasting notes
The Merlot is very evident in the blend, it contributes structure and richness in the mouth. This provides balance to the aromatic, spicy fruit character from the Grenache and Carignan.

The wine is very versatile but particularly suited to grilled meats. Serve at room cool temperature.
