Tortoise Creek comes from a selection of the best parcels of Merlot in Languedoc-Roussillon. Our headwinemaker, Xavier Roger, has searched whole of the Languedoc for the parcels which produce this excellent cuvee.

Vinification
The top quality vineyard and the full ripeness of the grapes are the reasons behind the richness of this wine. De-stemmed and crushed, the grapes undergo a long maceration that slowily extracts the best components of the grapes. Micro oxygenation stabilizes the colour and allows the development of intense fruit flavours

Dégustation
The colour is dark. The nose, dominated by black currant fruit and other black fruits, is seductive. The mouth confirms the great ripeness of the grapes, with a silky, forward attack and soft tannins.

Serve at 17°C. This wine will perfectly accompany game, meat stew, or cheeses
