Grape Varieties
100% Cinsault
Cinsault is a grape variety well-known in South of France for its excellent rosé.
La Campagne rosé de Cinsault, exclusively produced from this grape variety, comes from parcels located between Narbonne and Béziers, in the foothills of the Black Mountains.
Winemaking process
The first grapes of Cinsault harvested in the season are used to make this rosé. Indeed, we aim to keep the fruit as fresh as possible and to have a great acidity that a further maturation wouldn’t allow. The grapes are directly pressed with a gentle pneumatic press. The collected must settles down and ferments at low temperature (15°C) in stainless steel tanks.
Tasting notes
With a colour of vibrant pale pink and a raspberry, floral nose, this is a lovely refreshing rosé. The palate is charming with a clean, fruity finish.
Chill this wine down very cold and drink it with summer dishes or as a funky aperitif. |
