Muscat doux
AOC Saint-Jean de Minervois

Grape Varietal
Muscat petits grains

Wine making process
To make a great success of this wine, the owner Raymond Miquel stresses upon the perfect balance of the mouth, due to sugars contents and acidity. This balance must be emphasized by a wonderful astonishing bouquet. Thus, Raymond tastes the grapes during the whole maturation. The grapes are hand harvested and sorted. The fermentation is led at low temperature (11°C) and is fortified with grape alcohol when the perfect harmony is reached.
Sugars contents: 135 g/L
Alcohol: 15°5

Tasting notes
Colour: shimmering golden hues, with hints of straw.
The nose is very intense and complex. It is dominated by pear, rose aromas, with a citrus fruit background.
Mouth: Rich, powerful, with an exceptional aromatic persistence and a zesty acidity in the end.
Serve Domaine du Barroubio very cold. It will be perfect on its own as an aperitif, with foie gras or chocolate cake.

Domaine de Barroubio presents the Muscat AOC St Jean de Minervois either in a 50cL bottle, or in a 75cL bottle.
